The hydration pod portion of the Double Haul can be worn as a hip pack once detached. The hydration feature remains functional and you can see that there is still retractor attaching capability.
hey i have the oppertunity to buy the double haul pack and i just have one question and it is there good organization in the backpack/waistpack? like can i organize my gear or is it pretty much open inside with no organization?
good question WPJP. the double haul waist pack came in two versions, the original one had some internal organization but that was removed in the redesign. both have the internal hydration sleeve and exterior mesh pocket. let me know what you decide.
