Double Haul remix

I resorted and remixed in order to get the chest pack configuration image into the movie.

Where are the bikinis? You can't use a latin beat soundtrack without featuring bikinis.

Truly, you've meddled with the primal order of the marketing universe....

Unfortunately the production budget didn't allow for bikinis on the Double Haul shoot so I knew the music choice was tampering with primal order....but that's Way Upstream. For a really interesting marketing spin, click on both movies at the same time.

Film Tour submission?

If you think it's worthy. Note that I've created a bunch more 30 second "films". Let me know if you want to see them.

El P.,

I have a generic issue re Patagonia, not sure if others have had the same problem. Yesterday afternoon, I received a new catalog in the mail. I saw a hat I liked and went online to order it, was told it was out of stock and none of your online partners had it either. This has happened to me at least 4-5 times with various Patagonia items (and has happened to my wife at least a dozen times with respect to the kids-wear), recently it happened when I saw the white sunshade shirt...immediately went to the CPU to order, but no dice.

I guess one of the attractions of Patagonia is that they mix up their patterns/colors...etc., so everything seems relatively fresh. But still, it is annoying.

Comment noted George. Tell me exactly what you are looking for (style, color, size) and I'll see if I can help you locate what you want.

George - you're right. It is annoying for people to come to the Patagonia.com only to find that we're sold out of the product that they're looking for. As a result, one of the features you'll find on Patagonia.com, that you won't find with virtually any other online retailer, is that we will search up to 8 different sets of inventory in an effort to get you the product you want.

First we check the website's inventory. If the website is sold out, we check the inventory for all of our retail stores. At the same time, we check the inventories of 6 different online Patagonia partners to see if they have the product you're looking for.

I realize this is of little comfort when you ultimately find out that no one has what you're looking for but be aware that Patagonia.com tries harder than most other websites to get you the products that you want, when you want them.

When all that fails, call our Customer Service department at 1-800-638-6464 and ask them what they can do to help you out. Sometimes they can find what you need from one of our other Patagonia Dealers.

Thanks for the feedback and know that your business is important to us.

Nice Double Haul films El Pescador.

Bikinis next go around?

I have been using the new double haul (early proto) for quite some time and it's the only thing i now use for fishing. There are so many little hidden gems on this pack. I mainly use the hip pack portion for single to multi day trips and love the fact that it fits everything from a small lunch, a couple fly boxes, tippet, my rod holder, and either a H20 Bladder or water bottle - everything I need. I love the fact I can wear it around my waist or over my shoulder when wading deep all while swinging it around to look through it without having to take it off in either position.

This pack is comfortable, durable, and super versatile. Highly recommended from a scrutinizing user.

Not to hijack the thread because the new Double Haul looks sweet for my striper setup. But to echo what George wrote: at this very moment the shelled insulator pants are being featured on the Patagonia fly fishing home page, but they've been totally out of stock in size L for 3+ weeks (partners, too). I never thought a call might shake some loose, though.

Thanks El P. and TwoSevens (Culture fan?). The concern I had was really with a couple items that I had never seen before...they pop up in the catalog for the first time, and when I hit the site later that day, they're gone.

That said, I do like the feature on your site that allows you to connect with other online merchants.

Just happened to me yesterday, with the hat, and I'm jammed on x-mas shopping, so I think you can write off my post as venting in the heat of the moment.

As always, thanks for considering my feedback, and I'm looking forward to the new line of flyfishing-specific products.

The Shelled Insulator Pant surpassed demand estimates Linesider....especially size Large. We'll be back in stock by mid-January but I'll see if there's a dealer partner who has a pair. If I find them I'll let you know.

Thanks Lilredrasta. I hope Linesider can get a large. I'm curious, is there a way other than email for customers to search product and availability? Is there a # to call?
